The System requirements for POLARIS are as follows:
Operating system Microsoft Windows® 2000 with Service Pack 3 or newer or Microsoft Windows XP
For POLARIS application without SQL Server:
- PC with Pentium 500 MHz processor or faster
- 256 MB RAM or more
- Monitor with resolution 1024x768 or higher
- 100 MB hard disk free space
For POLARIS application with MS SQL server:
- PC with Pentium 1 GHz processor or faster
- 512 MB RAM
- Monitor with resolution 1024x768 or higher
- 300 MB hard disk free space
Additional software requirements for POLARIS-specific tasks
- Microsoft Excel - for data export/import, as well as for creating serial documentation and mail merge - based on xls files.
- Microsoft Word - for creating serial documentation and mail merge- based on doc files.
- Microsoft Outlook - for exchange of contacts/tasks/appointments with POLARIS and automation of e-mail registration in POLARIS.
- Internet access for sending e-mails.
